At its base is argan oil, an oil from Morocco that is quickly absorbed and contains anti-oxidants and fatty acids that are believed to protect and rejuvenate the skin. The second carrier oil is jojoba oil that helps to build the protection barrier. The third carrier oil in this blend is rosehip oil, which contains vitamin A and essential fatty acids said to slow the signs of aging. The next oil ingredient is squalane, a concentrated derivative of squalene from olive oil production, it has emollient properties and reduces trans-epidermal water-loss restoring skin's suppleness and flexibility. And finally, pomegranate oil, a deeply nourishing oil that helps with skin elasticity. But let's not forget the essential oils...oooh these powerful oils are lovely and were chosen for their skin protecting properties. This blend contains lavender, frankincense, copaiba, tansy blue, carrot oil and a touch of rose absolute oil.
