Appalache is a Saint-Isidore-based SME that came into being in 2012. It markets white birch syrup and by-products in several regions of Quebec. Appalache stands out for its research & development of various by-products derived from white birch syrup.
White birch syrup, white birch syrup pearl vinaigrette, maple syrup and white birch syrup coulis and beef rillettes with white birch syrup have already won the hearts of Quebecers since their launch.
In 2013 Appalache birch syrup received an honorary certificate in the agri-food category at the Salon des Artisans de Québec.
